I have a 2007 apex with 18,000 KM and am having an issue where it won't idle properly. when you let off the throttle, sometimes it will idle at 3,500 - 4,000 rpm (clutch still engaged), sometimes it will idle at 1,000 - 1,500. Last year, I rolled the sled when I was turning a corner and slid a little bit. It rolled when It caught traction again. I was doing less the 20 KM/h. Thankfully it pushed in the killswitch so it wasn't starved of oil or anything. Ever since, it hasn't been idling right but it runs great when on the throttle. I've read a couple of other posts but none of them seem to match my problem. The sled is stock. Any ideas?

Sounds like your throttle cable is hanging up.
Checked throttle position sensor and it is working properly, it rests at 16 and smoothly climbs all the way up to 96 when pressing the throttle.

There may be a misunderstanding here. Just because the TPS functions correctly does not mean that sometimes the actual throttle cable returns completely when you let off your thumb. I'd suggest checking its entire route for issues. Also your TORS function since if the cable is hanging up TORS should be kicking in. Your issue might be right on the bars which likely took a knock when you rolled.

Thanks for all the help guys, throttle cable seems to be returning all the way. Swapped out the fuel rail it so far it seems to be better. Maybe a problem in there. Took it for a rip and did some tweaking of the Idle air control screw and seems to be functioning perfect. We'll see what happens tomorrow
