Picked up a 11 nytro rtx this year and kept my 07 apex rtx. Rode 150 miles up on the hill this weekend. Here are my side by side comparisons.

Apex top end = 103-108
nytro rtx top = 93

The nytro pulls harder than the apex up to 85, then the apex pulls away strong. I'm very happy how hard the nytro pulls low-mid range. I don't usually ride much about 90 so I like the nytro in that category. Once in a while we run the lakes, then I'll jump on the apex. 96

In the bumps = no comparison.
Nytro wins that hands down.

Jumping drifts:
Nytro winds that hands down.

Gas mileage:
nytro used exactly the same as the apex. ??
So I give that to the apex with the 10 gallon tank
vs. nytro 7 gallon

Hand Warmers
Better on the nytro
The apex is a much wamer sled however.
We rode in -5 and I was cold on the nytro. The wind was hitting me in the groin and chest.

Weight:
Nytro a bit lighter but still no fun when its stuck.

Cornering:
Apex wins that. I'm getting inside ski lift on the nytro, can't figure out why. (only inside lift) . Going to play w/ suspension some more.

I'm still getting used to the nytro high seat position. I do like it.

It was yamaha day at Flat Rock on Sunday so rode all the new yammis. I was not impressed with the new apex, seems like old. I did like the nytro long track fx. It rode very nice.

:yam:

Put a new set of skis and the oft relocator on the sled and it will be a major improvement over stock. I also had a 07 apex rtx I sold it after ridding the nytro 450 miles and I didn't look back overall way better sled.
