2007 Apex RTX what's it worth ?

I'm looking to sell my 2007 Yamaha Apex rtx , 150 hp, electric start, reverse,
144 woody stainless studs, belly protector, DC Plug, High and Low Windshield,
Rear shocks re-valved 2 seasons ago by Pioneer Performance. 3100 miles,
Oil and Gear Case oil changed last season. What do you think I can get for it?

Buster696 is looking for a sled with a proactive skid. Does that have one??He has posted in the want ads. As far as value, I dont know, maybe between $5,000 and $6,000??? You do have low milage, and that is a plus.

I think about $6500. I sold my 06 gt with lots of extras for about $5500 in the spring with around 2900 miles on her if I recall correctly. Rtx models are hard to find IMO, and hold up better is the bumps then the other softer skids. I say ask 6500 and see where it goes.

sold dads attak gt for 6000 last year w/ 7500 miles on it... good luck anything over 6gs and i think ur doing ok.

I bought my 06 RTX with 2600 mi. and a bunch of spare belt and wheels for $4200 in June, for whatever it's worth.....

Yamaha 4 stroke value is largely mileage dependent (vs model year).

I bought my 07 Attak GT 2 seasons ago in Jan for $5k 6200 miles. That was one hour after passing on an 06 RTX with over 10k miles that was only $2,800. I test rode that thing hard but it was too beat up to me.

I'd say $5500 max due to lower miles. Seems the Pro-Active is less popular to me.

where you are is more of a driver then anything i have found that on the east coast there are some stupid low prices on thease sleds used was consideringhaving one shipped when i bought my 07 gt cause you could get them 1-2000 less then you could around here. i dont know why but if you go on sledswap.com you should be able to get a good idea of what they are going for in your region.

I purchased an 07 RTX with 650 miles on it for $5100. Came with a bunch of extra parts, bergstrom carbides. The sled was immaculate.

I just saw an 06 Apex ER with Fox floats sell on ebay for $3700 with 5690 miles on it.

People saying anything above $5500 are talking about what dealers begin to ask for them.

The key to buying / selling an apex is not just miles. Has the maintenance been done regularly (bearings), track condition, overall look of the sled being beat to crap or not. The next biggest key is to wait until end of October to begin thinking about selling it. You are going to waste at least $1000 by selling it now. A good apex that goes for $4500 - $5000 will go for $5500 when the snow flies.

The Apex was the flavor of the day but those days are over & they now seem like they are a hard sell these days. Id say $4500 to $5000 . Also like the following post said maintenance is a key factor, Donuts,bearings ect are probaly in need of some looking into. And the 2013's are out so its now a 6 year old sled.

Sold mine last Feb. for $5200, sled had 3600 mi. was clean and had tons of extras. If you get an offer over $5500 . . . . . take it.
