2007 Apex starter whining noise ?

Do any of you have any starter issues (whining noise at start up ?)
Its been doing it for the last 2000 miles also i hear the starter spin after i shut down the engine.

Na i was going to leave it alone but i figured time will catch up on me .

Let us know what caused the failure...are you using YAM oil? is it a so called starter clutch failure...

Looks like a starter & STARTER CLUTCH ASSY seems like 1 in 100 go from what the dealer tells me he had two last year that went. over $650 in parts about 1 hour in labour.
Yes im using yamaha oil synthetic.
