What should you see for RPM when you hold it wide open? I noticed my buddies 2006 Attak will go to 10,500 RPM and slowly climb to about 10,800 RPM when you whack the throttle but my 2007 Attak GT only goes to 10,100 RPM and slowly climbs to about 10,600 RPM? What should it be?

On a stock Apex, when you wack the throttle open from a dead stop[or anytime really] the RPM should hit 10500 to 10800 and stay there until you let off the throttle.

I would assume that I need to go a tad lighter on my primary weights then? Clutches are in good shape and the belt only has about 800 miles on it.

Yes a little less weight in the first hole or a higher initial rate primary spring with the same finish rate should do it.
