I have been a Ski-Doo guy for a long time and I am looking into buy a 4 stroke sled. Thinking about an 09 RS Vector LTX, went to a local dealer to look at them when I saw an 07 Nytro for $7,200.00. Do not know much about the 07, how would it compare to the 09 Vector. All comments welcome.

Nytro

Price is definately to steep for the left over sled. I have the 06 version of that sled and love it, but did the same thing and bought it in 07 as a left over and paid much lease than that. (even with the extra four year warranty)

WAY TOO MUCH! Knock a grand off and you are talking. I paid $6000 for my 06 Nytro last year and it was still in the crate.

Fun ride though.

If your coming off a newer skidoo, then your defiantly not going to like the rear suspension, you can get a different suspension but thats going to lighten your pocket quite a bit, the motors are the most reliable of any of the four snowmobiler companys out there in my mind. you dont burn any oil and its great on gas too. I had to make the same decision when i bought mine, i came off a 2002 mxzx 800, its not as fast but i love just how the 4 strokes are set up. The only downside is the rear suspension, You have alot to think about.

Just my 2 cents, Good Luck!

Thanks for the input, I blue booked 07 Nytro & Nytro Er Retail 5,800 & 6,000 (ER) - Trade in 4,000 & 4,100 (ER) So I thought 7,200 was high. Not sure what they'll take, still early for the season. I was thinking 6,000 was proabily fair price. Question is: is the Vector worth the extra money??

Is the suspension better on the 09 RS Vector LTX GT? Even though looking at the engine more (4 stroke -vs- 2) . Plus changing my riding style, looking at the 136 track, getting older. LOL I am also comimg off an MXZ.
