Right now I am coming of of a 2004 rev 440x that runs on 110. I am selling the sled right now and once it is sold I want to purchase a phazer. I plan on doing a lot of off trail riding, some jumps, narrow trails, and lots of bumps. I dont plan on doing much if any groomed trail riding just a lot of ditchbanging and the like. The reason I am switching is because I want a 4 stroke and would really like an fx nytro but the price tag is a bit too much...lol top speed really isnt much of a factor for me I just want something that has good acceleration and torque. Also running 110 was a big pain in my a**. I am also going for the reliabilty too. I know the first year phazer had some issues but what were they. With what I have said will I get what I want out of this sled? My budget is about 4000 and not much more. Is there another sled that would suit me better or is this a good choice? The 07 phazer I am looking at has 1300 miles and they're asking 4000 but i am sure they will come down a bit. Is this a decent deal or should I wait till winter gets closer to find a better deal? Thanks.

Phazer
Beat them up a little on the price. I bought my wife an 07 Phazer in May 08 and it had 1500 miles on it. I paid 3200 for it then. The only problem is it was considered off season then and now you are dealing with guys wanting the most for the sleds due to the winter coming.
You will not be disappointed with the sled if you do get it.....

Isnt a 440x a race sled?If so be prepared to do some mods unless you buy a Phazer which is modded already.

it is a race sled and still runs on 110...I know the phazer isn't fast and I wouldn't expect it to be but I want a sled that I can screw around on a little bit more and that will be a bit more reliable as well. I am a 4 stroke guy and I think a phazer would be a better route for me. I am not a novice rider or anything I have had a sled since I was 5 or 6 so will I feel at all like the phazer is more of a toy or can it hold its own.

Happen to agree with Cannondale27, stock it is a fun machine...modded it rocks. I happen to be selling mine, all updates done...Hauck kit...tunnel closed...etc... Drive to NYS and throw $4750 bones together and you'll have yourself a unique whip for sure.

I'd tell you to make it happen, the only thing I would do is put an 1.5 track on it and go to Hygear for the suspension. Close off the tunnel, and Done! Ride it!

I just bought a 2007 phazer mtn lite with 750 miles on it for 4000. you should be able to find one for around 4500 maybe less, depending on how bad they want to move it. I cant wait to ride mine, I have been doing the snow dance..

Man if I can get some more money together I would buy that sled from ya. If you still have it closer to winter I will try and get in touch with you.
