Got a part number for it that is what i have been shopping for.
I am with ya I am going to just make mine similar to yours but the muffler will be back further. The K&N kit from ulmer I might do the excell because i know drew has one.
Floats for the front and thats all the mods for this year.
The muffler is made by Coast mfg. Out of California. Google it and they will come up. Mine is the 2" pipe, 3.5" od and 14" long I think. It only weighs like 3.5 pounds. If I did it again I would order it with there stainless packing not conventional packing. Mine was completely empty at the end of the year.

do you think a 4" od would fit?

a 4" OD muffler fits. I ran one all last year. This year i went to a stock Harley Davidson Sportster muffler which is about 2" OD. and half the weight. I bet the new muffler only weighed 2lbs and sounds good. bet the whole exhaust only weights 5 lbs.

Sorry for the whole complete thread derailing here and also sorry to argue your numbers but your weights are at least 50 percent of what they actually weigh. I have a few take of Harley mufflers and I do agree they would make a great undertunnel muffler but they weigh 4 pounds or more. With running a muffler I would be in total shock and would love to see a full exhaust system that weighs less than mine. For cost, size, performance and I would bet sound as well I would say the Harley muffler is a great option though!

i may just go look at the harley muffler.
thank you for the input!!
weight is not a big concern just want under tunnel and not to spend a 1000

Ill weigh my exhaust tonight rlcofmn. As now you got me curious. I was just going by feel but i know its light as hell. My exhaust looks identical to yours almost only with a different muffler. So im sure im no heavier then yours by any meens. Its as short as it possibly can and as light as i can get it. this is my 4th muffler on this setup so far. Even had a 16" CF muffler that i think was heavier then these harley mufflers.

If I did another exhaust I would use a Micron Ultralite Ti. muffler. They don't produce them anymore but you can still can find them on ebay and they literally weigh 2 lbs. Lightest bike mufflers made. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hond...2494292QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

got a micron on my Nytro
mounted the muffler on the rear of the tunnel
frt of muffler mounted off the stock exhaust bracket
should I move the micron farther ahead?
the track seems to rub the muffler off jumps
it looks like most people are mounting them @ mid tunnel
