Hello. I have a 2009 Yamaha fix nytro rtx that I am looking for a header for. I know that the Excell header is excellent and will perform well but I am wondering if there are any other good ones out there. I have been curious about the MBRP and the hauck headers? What do you guys like best

I had the mbrp on my o8 no problem at all . The header was nice wish a didn't sell it just picked up a 2010 rtx se . The best thing is its 100 cheaper.

I've got the MBRP on my Nytro and it is doing fine, so much heavier built than the stock header. Had the stock header blow apart with only a couple hundred miles on it. Have heard that happens to a lot of boosted sleds. Don't think that will ever happen with the MBRP. Night and Day difference.

I didn't expect a problem with the MBRP products but was more concerned if the performance was any good? They have no printed dyno results and little to no info online about the header

I was told by a mbrp rep that they build excells and haucks header. plus their alot cheeper. I got one and its an excelent well built peice.

I have had both Hauck and mbrp, and mbrp seems like a better build. Looks nicer, looks thicker, just nice quality. Also had some great deals on ebay for them. My Hauck ended up cracking over time and needed to get welded by pat in the past.

The MBRP header I have seen at local show seemed like a real quality header with nicest welds out of all the aftermarket headers.

Thanks for the help. I ordered the MBRP last night. Stoked for this season. Praying we actually get a cny winter like the old days :-o
