I know this has been discussed a number of times, however im still going to ask.

I am looking for a clutch kit that is going to give me the best off the line and mid range throttle response!!

currently looking at D and D, Bender, Schmitt Bros. and have made numerous attempts to speak with Nate at Boss performance.

anyhow, let me know your experiences/thoughts.

thanks in advance. :rocks:

any of them are prolly good,im gunna go with ulmers,i have the same exact sled

Ulmer Racing will set it you up right. Ask's your weight, and riding style. Ships it to you ready to rock. Simple as that. Also, it flat out works!

Had both Ulmers & Hauck's.
Currently running Hauck's.
Both give good gains & tuneabilty. Some slight driveability differences between the two.

Drag n Flys with Turks black spring set up is awsome! If you don't care about top end it's the perfect set up.

With the Schmidt Bros. kit, the low engagement allows for very smooth take - offs. You gradually press the throttle and the sled moves forward very smoothly. Their stage II helix really gets you moving in the mid range.

It may take more then a clutch kit to Run with XR1200. I have a very well setup XTX and recently picked up a 1200 so it won't be long...

The single biggest mod you can do IMO to XTX is install 1.450" studs, not 1.325".. There is a huge difference in holeshot and acceleration just in slightly longer studs and it's well worth it.
