2010 Nytro MTX
So I picked this sled up at a swap meet and brought it home untested (the price was right, but of course one expects potential problems). The previous owner had it for nearly all of it's life, and told me every km on the clock was put on in the mountains. I took it out a few weeks ago, and it ran fine - a significant increase in power over the stock nytro (color me impressed) but I noticed it idles between 2500 - 3000 rpm. Is this something you mountain guys do to keep the machine close to clutch engagement on purpose, or is it something I should be concerned about?
