I lean her forward as much as I can with control rod, soften front shocks to the max, rear EC suspension is set at lowest at start of race ( I stiffen it to the max after takeoff, seems to work at last 200 feet of race you get better speed with rear suspension stiffest). Everything is greased and track is loose but no ratcheting. i also use a belt with 2000 miles on it (my lucky belt I guess just for drags). Nytro was 4-5 sleds ahead of me at start but i'm reeling him in at about 500 ft, if race was 750 it would be tie IMO.

those Nytro's are real fast for short distances

I have a Nytro and the Apex's I've raced can't get around me on Top.

what are you seeing on top end?

I seen 114 speedo (110GPS) with my XTX on top end... This was on a snow/ice plowed road, pushing 3" of powder.

I've seen 111 now. I actually raced another real good running Nytro and a Mach Z 1000 from a 30 mph roll on Sunday and never saw them again. I had nothing for them out of the hole on the glare ice but from a roll I got just enough bite to pull out and stay out front.

you crushed that srx, was the srx stock?

The SRX is not stock, he's done alot of clutching, gearing and piping, he also long tracked it to 136". It has unreal top end tho. His wife's 2002 SRX bone stock gives me a better challenge. He knows alot about Yamaha, his Dad used to own Yamaha dealership and race on the old circuit. He knows his stuff and he just happens to love tinkering and working on my 4 stroke as well

I usually GPS at 110-111mph on packed snow and I've hit 116mph on local lake airstrip (3/4 mile ice). This year it's not the same, seems like I've lost 10 mph on top end and sucking back the fuel (almost double). I got a feeling it's donuts or Y-pipe cracked. Going to have a looksee this weekend.

Filters,Header,Plugs, PC111, Ignition Module Extra Wheels in the skid to reduce drag on the hyfax. It's also clutched.
