2010 XTX backcountry swap

I put two in our Nytro's. Didnt see the need for re-clutching so far.

Just put a Backcountry on my XTX a few weeks ago and noticed that the lug spacing is about 6 inches pretty much all the way around the track, but at one point the lugs are very close together - about 3 inches. Is this where the track is "joined"?? Just making sure it isn't a defect of some kind. Thanks-

I noticed the same thing when my dealer was putting a back country on one of their XTX's last spring, never heard if the track was defected?? Seems weird though to happen twice, maybe it's normal, but you'd think the track would be out of balance???

Exactly... well it's probably nothing to worry about - and if you noticed it on another one, they must all be like that. Hopefully get a chance to try it in a few more weeks.

Installed a 1.75 on my XTX for a trip out west in march. Had a blast! Stock drivers, stock clutch, changed lower gear per yamaha. Left the tunnel protectors in, just trimmed the track slightly for clearance. Worked just fine. And also my track had the same thing going on with the lug spacing. Figured it's normal.
