spent last season on an 06 apex gt I had picked up slightly used previous spring. Fell in love with it, especiailly after tweaking susp and switching to pilots. At 5900, I feel like I really got my moneys worth.
My buddy tried it and the next week he had a new phazer and nytro. After trying those, I feel like I HAVE TO HAVE an xtx. saved some dough over the winter to try and buy slightly used one or left over in cash if good deal. Been watching for a few weeks. See leftovers out west here and there less than 8000. best clean used one (600mi) I found was in New England wants 8000 due to couple extras and price paid. I just found one at dealer hour away for 8000. can't decide to go for it or wait for 2010s.
Would help to know what has been changed for 2010. From what I've seen, would guess extra wheels, pilot ski's and possible rear exchanger would be needed either way. It looks like they may have changed slightly in spindles? also most of 10" shorter? maybe the bumper

I don't think anything changed except for the colour.... Spindles are un-changed. The 09 spindles were changed from the 08's.

From the show here in Winnipeg the only change I was told about were the hand warmers. You will need to change the skis, add the trail tank & do some sort of heat exchanger or you will have plenty of ice build up. IMO buy the 2009 & ask for the hand warmers unless you like the all Black!

No brainer!!
Why pay 2-3 grand more for the same sled.
I just bought a left over 2009 xtx for a great deal!!
If there were a lot of improvements it would be a harder decision.
