2011 290hp mc xpress install

Hello Everyone. Just in the middle of a 290hp mc xpress install on a 2011 apex se and the pressure tube install. Looks like you have to remove the riveted hardware on the tunnel, for the tunnel protectors, in order to install the p-tube. Is that correct? The instructions don't really explain this. When the tube is installed where do you mount tunnel protectors? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

You have to remove the 1st and 2nd brackets on the tunnel protector on left side for the pre-cooler and leave the last one on. Put the pre-cooler up in place and then hold tunnel protector up in place and mark it where it needs to be. Then have the tunnel protector welded to the pre-cooler so its all one piece.
