I had a 6-8" Rox adjustable riser and pivot put on my 2011 SE, (just can't seem to do stuff myself anymore since my head injury)... anyways..... when I picked it up, I thought it looked and 'seat' felt GREAT ! Then I noticed the chrome collar not installed & they said it couldn't fit/work always something ffs.
Sitting there looking at it it bugs me now.... the trim piece was part of the 'bling' and now looks naked.
Has ANYONE come up with a solution to make it fit/work ? I even considered attacking it with a dremel, and then using an adhesive to get it back in place. But, I already know how THAT will end
So please save me the frustrating breakdown and share your achievements in getting it done to status.

I had this on my sled. You need to get a flat post adapter/riser to raise it to allow the Rox riser to work. It raises it enough to allow it to clear and you can install the chrome trim then. I may have an adapter, I'll check.

I'm interested in this post. I am putting on the same set up only the powermadd versions. I was looking at my sled the other day and wondering about the collar and whether or not it would still go on. I received my adjustable riser but am waiting on the pivot/adapter. I'll report back as soon as I attempt to install mine.

Thanks for the inputIt will work as long as the bottom of the adjustable riser clears the collar.
On a strange related note I was just looking at the parts schematic on a couple different Yamaha parts websites and I can't even find either part of the collar?
