2011 Apex XTX Ski Swap

Hey Guys, new to the forum. Lots of great info on here. Just bought a 2011 Apex XTX EPS with 2400 miles. I have a 2009 Venture RS with the stock wide powder skis. Was wondering if I could switch the stock Apex skis out with my 09s wide powder skis? Looking for a little floatation for small off trail work, not boondocking! Lol. Issues? Handling? Thoughts? Help??

Should work fine.......Snowtrackers from Barn if Parts (site sponsor) will make those a pretty decent do-all ski.

Either way dump the 2011 skis. They were redesigned after that year, as far as moving the mounting point for better balance. A wider ski is definitely beneficial on the front end.
