I want to put a tunnel bag on my sled but I would have to put an elbow on y he exhaust to redirect it away from the bag and was wondering if the increased back pressure would affect the performance?

As long as your not changing to a smaller diameter there should be no change. Just ensure it's a smooth transition elbow and not a square 90 degree.
