Alright, newbie here!
I bought new 2011 FX Nytro and a 2011 Phazer GT this fall and am wanting to get some info on the best break in methods for them. Nytro has 0 miles and the Phazer has 2 (assuming the guys at the shop played a little bit last year on a slow day). Looking to head to Northern Wisconsin this weekend or next with the girlfriend, and wanted to get everyone's opinions on what to expect with the sleds and how to ride them at first. Obviously, like any engine, you don't want to be out slamming the throttle to the max right at the get go, but how many miles is needed for the first break in? Will I see a lot of tweaking needed on the track at first? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Just take it easy the first 50 miles, then just ride normally. I rode the crap out of mine with 0 miles on it. I didnt change my riding at all to break it in. just avoid constant speeds, lots of acceleration and slowing to get the rings set in.. have fun with the new sleds.

POUND THE PISS OUTTA BOTH OF THEM!! Seriously. Do a search on here on Motoman's break in procedure. And what ^^^^ he said about no constant speeds. I wouldn't recommend a long wide open throttle period, but I would make sure you see how well the back side of the throttle lever and the handlebar mate up together. A LOT!!
