Okay guys give me an idea the best location and type of "Ice Scratchers" to mount on our 2011 RS Venture.
Also just got the sled back from our oil change and pre season go over.
Hyfax/Slidders are at 50%. Any thoughts of what to replace then with after a few rides? I read an article on the Dupont ones but are the factory ones just as good?
Any thoughts on the extra idler wheel kit to prevent excess Hyfax/Sldder wear?
Thanks
Cant wait fr the snow!

The Yamaha marginal snow wheel kit seems to work well. It stops a lot of wear at the front. Your slides will wear fast to a point and then they seem to stop. Did you loosen off your track? Set it to about 1" to 1 1/2" free sag. I have the trick scratchers mounted to the sway bar links. Too early to tell if they make that much difference. I am still under 500km. When it's time I think I will buy the Dupont slides. So far I have heard good things about them. Good luck and enjoy your Venture.
