I know the skid was changed in '11. The plastic spring mount was moved from the wheel mount to its own mount about 1 inch higher than previous.
After riding I noticed that the mount was completly broken and luckily the spring sat on top of the mounting screw. Would have been ugly if the spring had gotten wrapped up in the track.
With the mount being an inch or so higher it is making contact with the track clips when the suspension is fully compressed. I noticed that the other side is already cracked.
Has anyone out there had this issue? Any suggestions?

Still at the dealer. I can't believe that there are not plenty of other people with the same issue.
It completely shattered the plastic mount.
Warranty or not, I will have to fab something that solves the problem.

My track is plenty tight. You guys with an '11 skid need to jump it like you should and then let me know. the last time i checked you should be able to use your entire travel on your shocks!!! Maybe I need LARGER rubber stops!
There is an obvious issue here. If you don't agree, let me know what it is.

Yeah your right, I only ride smooth perfectly good trails. I never want to jump or hit bumps and have never bottomed out my skid! Sorry for posting that mine are still OK

I'm OK for now. But it makes some sense and I see how the track could slap down on them. I'll be thinking more about it and watching.
Thanks for posting this.
