I've seen on the spec sheets that the new Apex has an more powerful stator/charging system. Does anyone know if it will fit on an 07 Apex? I have too many electronics and when they are all running my grips wont warm up and my heated shield barely works. I also have a gps, rider warning lights and underglow so I know I need more juice. I like my toys

Does that apply to the 2012's only, or the 2011 included in this? I have a '12 on order, but was wondering if I really 'NEED" to update w/ the yamaheaters. I've seen posts go both ways in regards to the heaters on the '11 Apex. Hoping they updated them for '12.

I think its 11's and 12's that have the new higher wattage stator. Not sure about the warmers. My warmers always worked great until I added all the other electronics.
