I am awaiting my '12 Apex XTX. How many studs are people putting in these tracks? I am planning on 1.340" roetins, as I've had good luck with them in the past. Woody's suggests 171, Studboy is suggesting 168 or 192. What are people running on these? I'm probably leaning towards the 192 range. Thanks for replys and input. I did do the search, but to no avail. Also, did anybody have any issues w/ the rear heat exchanger getting hit w/ studs on the '11's Apex XTX as some were possibly suggesting early on last year?

the previous owner of my XTX had 116 1.375 woody's (2 doubles every other row) but they had them too close to the centre and they were hitting the shocks, so i removed those and i went with doubles in the rows that had no studs and 2 singles in the ones that had previous holes for a total of 172. so i ended up doing a 2-4 pattern. you've got 57 rows to work with in the 144 track. with this much track i wouldn't go 192 but that's up to you. it already pushes some in the corners now so too much traction would make it push even more. having said that i have yet to try mine on the trails yet this year after changing the studs.
