Be careful adding front spring pressure AND shortening the limiter straps. You'll be getting into dump truck steering pretty quick..
I run the same carbides, and although they are IMO the best ones out there, they aren't likely to be doing as much as you think on a groomed trail, or anything other than a hard packed surface. I think a part of your pushing issue on twisty trails (if you're pushing your sled fairly hard) is the skis themselves. If you have acces to try a different ski, I'd do that first. I had the same issue with mine, then bought a set of C&A Razors, and I have no more push, and didn't change anything on my sled at that time. My sled is an '06, but I swapped a Nytro XTX skid into it just befor the '09 season.
FamilyMan jsut did a writeup on the Mods skis in the Viper section I believe, and I got a chance to ride that very briefly last weekend, and all I can say is I've never ridden a set of skis with that much bite! If you're trying to control push in the corners, definitely check them out!
