so, I am going to try and increase front ski pressure for this weekends ride. Brand new 2012 Apex XTX. My plans are to Compress the front springs on the front shocks and to raise the limiter straps by two holes. Do I have to adjust the front skid shock to avoid too much tension on the limiters when I make these adjustments? it would seem that without some front skid shock adjustment (softening) that the tension on the limiters would be too high. I have heard that these limiters tend to break too. is that true? Anything else I should adjust?
I ahve never had a limiter break and don't even know what I would do if it did, that could and prolly is real bad. hope it doesn't happen on this adjustment.
Thanks for any feedback.

You could try softening the front shock in the rear skid! This will put more weight on the front end! Assuming it not already on min preload adjustment!
