is about tunnel protectors I have seen some pictures but can't rember where I saw them if anyone could post some pictures or links that would be greatfull.
Also talk to a dealer and he said you have to take off the seat and exchust to drill out the riverts to put in some spaces...What size space should i uses 1'' or 1.25'' or 1.50''

Do a search; lot of posts on subject. The 2012 LTX already has protectrs, but you need to add to the area directly over the rear heat exchanger. if you don't do it sooner or later you will begin to see saw marks in the exchanger fins. I riverted a 1/4" x 1' x 8" piece of aluminum to each protector Some guys use a piece of hifax.

YOU don't have to take off seat or touch exhaust on the Vector, just rivet the pieces to the protectors on the rear exchanger and you'll be set to go.

Thanks for the reply,I have been ready alot about this and some people are adding around 1inch to 1and a half
.Just trying to figured out how much to add..

tks chuck

Some older LTX models did not come with a rear exchanger so if you added one to it you also had to add the protectors. In this case you would need about 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" total to protect the exchanger fins. The 2012 models came with rear protectors so all you are doing is adding that little extra to ensure you do not do any damage to the exchanger. Adding an addition 1 1/2" to what is already there and you risk damage to the lugs if you bottom out or when backing up.

Thanks for the reply that sounds alott better...
