Top secret info on what Yamaha has in the bag for the 2012 game changing RS Vector SE.

High-performance Genesis three-cylinder four-stroke engine receives multiple refinements for more peak power delivery and superior performance. The addition of Yamaha's EXUP system enables strong acceleration with linear response across the entire rpm range. Yamaha's Electronic Power Steering system will have you carving tighter, sharper lines with a light linear feeling. At the end of a long ride, you'll feel less fatigue. The Vector will boast a new ski, found on last year's Apex, designed specifically to work in conjunction with the EPS system.

In short:

- Yamaha's EXUP System
- EPS for light and precise steering
- New ski design for superior cornering
- All-aluminum CF die-cast frame with optimized rigidity balance
- Fox Float 2 front shocks
- Fox Mega Float rear Monoshock
- Engine Braking Reduction System
- New 128 x 1.25 x 15 inch track
- New taller seat with new material for reduced wear
- Front screen designed for excellent wind protection
- Fresh ergonomics, featuring a new taller , contoured seat and handlebar layout
- New High out handle bar heaters

So let's bring on the big question, what will Yamaha change the game with in 2013?

Shhh...keep it hush hush. :tg:

i wonder how much$$$ is the changes and how much dollar VS Yen econamy issuess etc.

If only the world economy's could keep pace with the technologies. Yamaha has an incredible product that could revolutionize the snowmobile industry, but few will be able to afford it. BTW, I own a Yamaha 2008 Grizzly 700 with EPS, and EPS IS EVERYTHING! :4STroke:

WEAK DOLLAR EFFECTS PRICES OF EVERYTHING

If Obamas budget($3,700,000,000,000) doesn't totally destroy our economy. We might still be able to snowmobile with our wind and solar snowmobiles. The powers that be are not to concerned about the strength of our dollar. If we (the American people) let this happen, buying any freedom luxury item such as a new snowmobile will be out of the question period. Yamaha is going to make as much money as they can while they still sell them.

While I'm in total agreement with the exchange rate and pricing part of the discussion, we all really need to be careful not to let politics creep into the forum.

Thanks in advance ;)!

here's a bump from from my prediction from last February...I think I'll be right on this one.

If gas keeps going up, I'll be hard pressed to drive my truck. Let alone haul my trailer 300 miles. Then buy the gas for the sleds................. This is getting verrrrrrrrrrrry ugly for some of us "NON" rich people. :o| MM.

I hear ya. Trailered the sleds 2 hours from the house yesterday for a day run. Between both sleds and the truck it was over a hundred bucks. Brutal....

Make it an X-TX and I'd be interested in it! That would be my #1 choice of anything that Yamaha builds...
