Ordered new upper idler wheels for my 12 vector ltx part #8cr-4731a-00-00. Received the wheels which were an exact size match but the center has a black spacer which is different than my old wheel which has the typical replaceable silver bearing. The problem is the new wheel won’t fit on the shaft the wheel rides on too tight. I double checked the part number which is correct. I have something different than listed by the fiche. I bought it used perhaps the original owner used something different. Attached is pictures of what the old and new wheels look like. If you have the correct wheel part number I need to ride on the shaft let me know thanks.

Not sure if it would be the same but have you checked to see if you can pry off that black cover? I run oversized idler wheels on my 08 Apex and the ones I ordered from Dennis Kirk, I had to remove this cover that looks similar to what is covering your bearing:

Looks like you’re right I just found this post. Looks like it will pound out rather than pry off? I don’t have the wheel with me it’s up north.

that is what the old pro action used on a metal sleeve for the idler wheels. never could keep those tight. we switched all those plastic and stock sleeve out on ours for the acessory mount kit for the billet wheels yamaha used to offer. always stays tight now on those sleds. jut remove them like rob said and you should be fine.
