2013 apex xtx shocks

looking at a 2013 apex xtx with only 500 miles on it,sled is mint,what kind of shocks do they have,air or gassers

Yamaha has never used Fox air shocks on the Apex XTX model, just gas shocks all the way around. Sounds like a nice sled you're looking at with low miles.

ya,its basically brand new from the pics,going to see it tomorrow,the price is good too compared to others ive seen with more mileage

Let us know if you need help tuning the suspension. Got almost 7000 km on mine and finally got it close to how I want it to ride.

maim, have you played with the transfer rods for racing? mine are fully ahead and i would like to try backing them off and letting the sled flop back more, maybe get 1/2 length more on the hole shot they are perfect for my style trail riding, will lift the skis with a flip of the fun switch just looking for maybe a race setp.

i have not played with the transfer rods at all in this sled. I do know it was nuts on transfer when I had tightened the front spring in the skid about 3 turns. when I punched it, it would hold the skis off the ground 6-12" until it would hit 65 mph (100 kph) on take off. when rolling at trail speed it would rock back when I punched it but I could hold the skis on the ground.
