so I just bought a 2013 apex xtx it had 3400 miles but still has the Yamaha extended service plan until 2019. Is there anything I should look for that could be worn out or need to replace. I am new to Yamaha and 4 strokes I was a Polaris rider my hole life.

I have the same sled with 14000 miles and have had no issues at all, very reliable sled. Get a set of ice scratchers, and when the sliders are worn out replace them with the dupont sliders. The rear suspension is very tough but also a bit harsh, lots of info in the forums on how to fix that.

You might want to look at the exup cables. I have had mine replaced twice in 4000 miles. Larger wheels in rear skid is a good idea.

Ok, I knew that... I totally misunderstood your post. I took it to mean the sled was only good for 25k miles. lol. My bad.Valve adjustment
