2013 fx nytro coolant

When getting my sled ready for the new season I noticed the coolant was a little low. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what type of coolant it is? Is it a food grade coolant? It is blue in color and the only coolant I have run across in the past that was blue was of a food grade! Any suggestions would help!!

Sounds like somebody put Engine Ice in your sled if it is you cannot mix regular coolant with it.

My 2012 new from dealer had blue antifreeze.

Here is the spec from the 2010 manual. Big thing is anticorrosion inhibitors in coolant.

Yamalube antifreeze is blue. I just bought a quart of it to top my 2011 xtx off. It comes pre diluted 60/40 mix

The yami coolant is blue in color but just normal coolant nothing special. Just add 50/50 premix from any auto store & your fine.

Thanks for all the replied. Guess I won't be going back to the dealer I bought the sled from for anything major. I had asked them about the coolant and they told me it seemed odd the coolant was blue and they didn't know what it was. You think a yamaha dealer would know yamalube coolant was blue!!

Remember the recommended mix is 60/40 not 50/50. I believe it comes premixed for that from Yamaha (snowmobile stuff).
