For those of you poo pooing a kids sled...go stuff it...I've wanted a "Blue" kids sled for years (for my kids)..I always dredded when they'd go to a friends house and rode a kittie cat, or mini z and then come home and ask for one...lol...if any one needed a kids sled it's YAMAHA.

BUT...(I will totally understand ur frustration)....if that's all they come out with...I don't think yamaha can afford to do that. But we shall see.

Whitedust....just admit it...your going back to doo...you seem less and less interested in buying a new yami...It appears to me u have been doing quite a bit of shopping lately....and that's fine....ride what ya like...but I can tell, you are gonna get RAW with yamaha if nothing new comes this year...lol For me...I don't care...I'm not buying new anyhow...I have a perfectly good 2007 Attak GT with low miles (12,342..to be exact)...and I LOVE IT!!! Yeah the mono skid is kinda lame..but...it handles good, and flat out hauls the mail...I will keep it for awhile....$15,000??? for a snowmobile??? NEVER!!! I don't care what brand it is....heck $10,000 is too much IMO...my wife gets the expensive cars/new cars...I like my 2001 buick GS..I'm gonna drive it til she blows, same goes for this Attak.

WOW news to me that I'm buying or shopping for any new sled!! Have not been to any brand dealer just would be a waste of time since not buying????
As far as a kids sled I have not said a thing really don't care meaningless to me. My only comment about Yam 2013 is probably BNG again but should white sheet a new platform 140HP that weighs a lot less than current line & use regular gas. Why you felt a need to single me out is foolish you don't know anything about me or what I'm doing or not doing.lol. However doo GSX SE pumped to 140ish+ HP might be a good thing but I would never purchase a 4s sled in the current 120 -135 HP just plain wrong for me. So consider the record has been set straight with your new understanding of me from the source.LOL

All signs point to a kids sled or something like a freestyle(but with better suspension and four-stroke L/C power).Tomorrow afternoon we may have more questions than answers :exc: .
 
I hope it's a kids sled !! We looked at a Bravo for our daughter this year after selling her MiniZ. She sat on it then looked at me like I was nuts for suggesting it LOL. We decided to wait a year for something more inviting . It's pretty sad when when you think about it ,, she's been riding since she was 5 ,, now at age 12 she's too big for the MIniZ and too small for anything else. So what does she do ,,, she started downhill skiing LOL.

1st time ever "Yawn" was a thought provoking comment.lol. That is me being nice avoiding saying something negative & just letting whatever will be for 2013 evolve. Needless to say Yam need not look behind as someone may be gaining in 4s market getting to be pretty much dead even with quaility still the tip in for Yam but another year of BNG will kill Yam. Sad but true. EPS & EXUP, $15KMSRP not hacking it for many of us so we are not moving to the new sleds not good for Yam or their core users. Build it & we will buy it... don't & we can't.lol
 
Variant Model could also be a new chassis with two different engine sizes(300cc and a 450cc).This sled might be part of a new class of sleds(sub 500cc,sub 400lbs,small size,low travel)
 
Ok the price tag thing has been beat to death. All new sleds from the big for are north of 12k, lets leave the price thing out of it. I will not pay more than 7k for any sled cuz they arent worth it since you buy **** loads of parts when I buy it anyways to upgrade/personalize....

Have you ever look at an enticer 250? thats what rode about that age. i think it looks alot better than a bravo.

I read that on HCS also. Not sure if its true. Everybody on the phazer has said 100-110hp would be dynamite. Maybe Yamaha listened? :drink:

I don't think Yamaha will do any significant changes like a new engine, to an existing sled. That would be admitting they missed the mark on the original design. If anything look for a significantly new chassis to accompany a new 100-110Hp engine and a new tag like Phazer II or Exciter.
I really like the idea of a kids sled, but not a mini. An updated Bravo. Simple inexpensive, yet with a 50 Hp 4Stroke for off trail.
 
So where is it?

Edit: Oops I though it was at 10h central. One more hour to go.
