I would never own a BRP product again. Had a brand new 2008 RXT 215, it was 2 months old and had 30 hours on it. We babied the thing, did the 10 hours worth of break in and everything, never jumped it. The hull started to crack right below the rub rail and it was a known issue. Along with superchargers that either come apart or need rebuilt every 100 hours. Sea doos bumper to bumper waranty said they would pay half and if we thought it was unfair we would have to take it up in court. Needless to say that went on Ebay as is and we purchased a Yamaha VXR. Yeah it is not cheap, it's big, but it is a blast and has the yamaha quality and reliability. The speedo has read 74 a few times before and this past summer I was side by side top end with the new Sea Doo RXT 260's. One which had a supercharger come apart during our race with only 50 hours on it. I don't know about you but when it comes to water, especially jetskies I want reliability over everything else.

Those vxrs are nice. If I was still into waverunners that is what I would get. Sounds like the dreamometer is still off like my 04 gp1300r was. Lol

Can't go wrong with one, I also really like the FZS and FZR's. I think the dreamometer may be off slightly, but it moves on top end, it's for sure in the upper 60's. My brothers boat does 65 on GPS and I can stay about 150' ahead of him from a 30mph roll. Top end it will stay side by side with the new Sea Doo RXT 260's, out of the hole the supercharger on the RXT gives it a jump on the VXR but it equals out once they both top out. My only issue is it's so much lighter than other 3 seaters that it likes to come out of the water a lot sooner. It's a blast though, I've put the abuse on this one, she's been rolledand jumped a lot and not a single thing wrong. I didn't like the original plastic and rubber exhaust which seemed very constricting so I put the RIVA Racing free flow exaust on it 2 summers ago. It sounds great but it's not too loud to ride all day long.
