Well.....things were too good to be 100% true, the sled in question had been bought by the dealer and it's factory warranty has expired therefore can never have a warranty.

I called another dealership and ran the vin# and they told me all about it

That's strange. What did nelsons tell you when you asked about it? Why would they "buy" the sled just to have the warranty expire?
