Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone else had a problem like this. I've got 150 miles on my brand new 2016 Apex XTX and i came out Saturday morning and the rear suspension was completely flat. We pumped up the Fox Float 3 with the crappy little pump and on the first bump it deflated again.

The dealer is replacing it under warranty (of course) with the "NEW" Style Fox Float that is supposedly a better ride but this still pisses me off. 2 runs and it's back at the dealer..

If anyone else had anything like this happen i'd like to know if you came up with why or how it was fixed.

Thank all
Scott

I blew two shocks on my xtx in one day last year. Had them replaced and no issues this year. Knock on wood.

I had one blow last year at 600 kms on my 2016 xtx

I saw that article Tbay and that is for 2017 sleds only and that replacement is if you don't like the ride of the shock the 2017 came with Yamaha will replace it with a new shock with different valving for a smoother ride. I'm looking for defective shocks.

How many mile did they blow at greatwhite?

I had about 1,000 miles on the sled when the first one blew. The second one was replaced at the dealer that day and blew 100 miles later down the trail. That one was then replaced and haven't had any issues in the last 1,000 miles with the current one.

Thanks Guys, It's at the dealer now getting done but i tell you it does rattle your reliability trust of the sled when it's in the dealer after 150 miles.

Ride Safe
