Hey All,
I'm debating between purchasing either the 2016 mountain ski or the 2017-2024 mountain ski (both from Yamaha). I think the 2017 mountain ski is actually wider (in the body) than the 2016 mountain ski, and I want as much flotation as possible. The 2017 ski measures in at 6-5/8" wide.
Have any of you actually put a tape measure to the 2016 mountain ski? I've read that the dimensions are 7" at the tip and then it tapers to 6.5". Is that accurate?

I run C&A MTX skis, they are a full 8" wide and provide excellent flotation.
