2 days in a row now when i start my venture i let it warm up until the red light goes out and everything is fine then i reverse out of the garage ,get off the machine and go close my garage door ,when i get back on the venture i notice the oil level warning light is on . I then shut off the snowmobile and wait 30 sec or so and restart and it runs good and all is good , no more oil level light.
Has this happen to anyone here . Will call the dealer Monday to get appointment to get this checked out unless its a normal quirk of Yamaha machines . Maybe not warmed up enough !!
Its got 1000km and i had the oil changed at the dealer at 820 km . Using 0w40 Yamalube synthetic .

I've had the oil lamp icon & yellow caution light come on, on my '10 Vector for no reason a couple times. I can't explain it either. I wouldn't worry too much.
I'm guessing possibly a fluke that for a moment not enough oil is in or hitting the sensor in the dipstick???? IDK??? Just a thought...

Mine did that for a while.
Sometimes I check the oil and its almost gone.
It looked like I was out of oil once and had to ride to station to get some, Light went out and I checked again and the oil was back..really strange.
