It’s been mentioned (Jared)that the 2021’s have some hardware/ mechanical upgrades ,such as Braded cooling hoses in the tunnel,chain case sight glass delete (threaded drain plug) and chain case upgrades.Please offer upgrade kits to everyone who would like these upgrades.Make a announcement to all Arctic Cat owners to keep confidence going foward.

Well, I'm sure these parts will be available for purchase. There are no internal upgrades in the chain case to my knowledge.

If you read his post it says they are working on the chaincase top gear issue. It doesnt say they have upgrade for it other than the plug to check fluid level instead of site glass.

And obviously nobody at Yamaha would come out and say "we hope to have the issues fixed for the 2022 models."
They wouldn't sell any 2021 models.

FYI, there is no drain plug, just level inspection plug inlew of the sight glass that falls out.
