You get 126MPH with stock gearing? I think the actual speed is alittle slower. I saw 126 on my speedo and gps was actually 111mph. No spinning on grass/ 1 in snow
This is not actual speed, this is calculated maximum speed the gears can put out. Right now I'm just trying to set up for 660' and not so much top speed. I do have other gears for speed but I'm more worried about the track coming appart at high speeds. Your running a 1.5 track, what size are your drives? are you studded?

Its calculated he is using a overdrive clutch which in essence gives him a higher gearing but the motor has to be able to pull it to 10200 to give him that speed.

I know there is a gearing chart but I never seem to get the right mph?? what mph should this gearing be good for?.. is this stock gearing for an 06 attak?

If your clutch is stock with any clutch kit added and no overdrive and you have 23/38 in the chaincase running 10500rpm your real speed is 111.73 on hard pack snow.I did some testing with different gearing set up with my radar gun on hard pack snow last winter and the caculator is bang on.

Tach RPM: 10,600

Clutch Reduction: 1.2333 -

Clutch Ratio: 1.0000 -

Top Sprocket: 23

Bottom Sprocket: 38

Track Pitch: 2.52 -

Driver Teeth 9

MPH ------------------ 111.73

KPH -------------------- 179.81
