Anyone care to share their opinions on run quality that currently have a tune with muffler 250 or below?
EVO vs Bikeman vs TD vs DD?

Lets be honest here most of these vendors will likely have an "improved" tune like we've seen with the 1100t many times.
Will Lonn's thunder kit have enough weight for a 250 tune?

I can't compare it to anything else, but I have the TD EcoTrail package, tune/SuperQuiet/Dalton weights and love it. The driveability and power are impressive. It pulls hard and makes a solid 13 psi, my problem at the moment is traction. Putting an IceAttack 1.22 track on it to help, but it's ridiculous w/o studs on anything even remotely icy. Jim at OSP took it for a rip after installing his intake and said "that runs really strong". TD does a great job from everything I can tell and have read.

Congratulations beerman. Keep us posted.

IMHO, We were sold a very balanced package. So, with limited experience, I'm watching to understand how a sled works by just making the rated 250h/p. What needs to be done, so we can reestablish balance..... Joe

I'll share my opinion here if I may......

I have Turbo Dynamics Eco/Trail tune with Superquiet muffler and I'm stoked. I have almost 500 miles on the tune and sled runs like factory tuning. It doesn't spit/sputter, there are no power surges, no detonation lights/codes....nothing....just big smiles.....well worth the money!!! The sled makes more power everywhere and in my opinion runs the way a 16k sled should!! The superquiet exhaust is a little louder in the garage/parking lots, but trail riding, I don't really notice it. It doesn't drone or annoy me in any way and the only time I hear it is when doing an 80-100 mph power wheely.....the exhaust comes out in the air and lets out a nice little bark.....awesome. I think the exhaust tone/sound is perfect. Went threw checkpoint on the weekend with the noise police and did not have any issues. Two winders together, you can tell the TD quiet muffler is louder, but when comparing it to other sleds, it's negligible.

I tried the tune/muffler with stock clutching and I must say again, Dalton weights are well worth the money. They are the icing on the cake and perform much better than stock.

The sled performs exactly as depicted in his videos. Last week raced my brother on his 2012 apex xtx (all stock) and it wasn't even a race. I'd give him a head start, pull alongside of him, burp the winder 4-5 times, and then just run away. In a half mile run he was so far behind in the dust he'd have to let go. Up until this point, he loved his apex....and rightfully so, they are formidable machines. My Procross 1100 turbo would also pull this apex a few lengths, but needed a pipe and clutch kit to do so.

We swapped sleds and while having lunch later he told me, "Man the apex has just become archaic....the winder is soooo much better, the seating position, the power, time to upgrade!!!"

In a nutshell, Turbo Dynamics is the real deal. I think Ben puts out a great product and goes out of his way to show the fruits of his labor by posting dyno sheets, videos, snwering questions, etc. That is why he got my money and I have absolutely no regrets.

Great posts keep it up guys. Have heard lots about TD but nobody has another vendor's tune in their SW? Interested mainly in sea level riders.

Better said than my review and right on! BTW - I'm at 375 miles, all with the TD package.

We have 4 turbos in garage and everyone has Hypersports tune on it said to be around 255 hp and zero problems and the 3 old zuk turbos have nothing for this new turbo period!

who is hypersports?

Nope with Hypersports now. He has had the new turbo sled longer than anybody else!

Are you running his tune/muffler and clutch kit? If so how do you like it,and do you mind sharing the hp vrs price he has it set up for. My hp range now is 250-265 at 91 octane.

He works with Sandale for exhaust and has only one tune that I know about. Last time I talked to him was working on bigger injectors. We have 4 guys in are group all running his tune and we have tested it against 3 old zuk turbos with D D tunes and spanked all of them.
