Considering buying for 08 Nytro FX with 144x1.75 backcountry .... Anyone have similar setup? Does it make a worthwhile change in handling?
Thanks.
Thanks.

What kit are you referring to?

Either the Skinz or Zbros front end kit (arms & shocks) ... popular with the mountain sleds ... I have an 08 FX stretched to 144" with Yamaha mountain skis and spend a fair bit of time off trail ... trying to decide whether to upgrade the front end or maybe look at a new sled (and yes I know that no other OEM has a powerplant equivalent to Yamaha lineup).
Really like the Yamaha motor and the riding position of the phazers (have an 07 Mtn lite) - considering a s/c phazer as I prefer its handling however the Nytro already has the power but needs front end reworking (08) - FYI distance from the clutch centre to the ski spindle is about 3+ inches forward on the phazer compared to the Nytro so wondering if the mod'd front ends on a Nytro achieve the same "feel".
Any input is appreciated.

I have the skinz front end on my MTX, and the difference is night and day when powder riding. Less effort and more precision. You can put the front end where you want it. I haven't trailed it very much but even without a swaybar, it doesn't seem to roll too badly, however I ain't exactly "pushing the envelope" on trails with a 2.25" paddle track!
In both cases Zbros or SPG are both big improvments.
