For some reason i think it might be an old subject but i'm at a cross road.
I'm currently running 2.5x162x16 extreme in my Nytro. I'm swapping out my rails to Iceage 174" but haven't yet ordered the track.
My question; it will cost me approx. an extra $700 to go with the 3".
The track is about $300 more then the 2.5" and the front cooler mod. is about another $300. Plus taxes and other stuff.
Is the 3" worth the extra coin for what you get. I do realize it will work better in the backcountry but $700 better??
PS. i do up too 30+kms at times on trails to get to certain riding areas, otherwise all my riding is off trail.

Depending on whos cooler mod and/or front delete, it can be done for that dollar amount +/-. I think the gains are gona be well worth the coin! If I could do the swap now, I would for sure.

I agree with Tapex. Plus he can talk from personal experiences. It will not hurt to spend the extra coin, plus when your that far into it what is another 700.... you wont be dissapointed.
