3375 miles on 04 RX1

ALL, here is a quick post of my experience with the 04 RX1. So far i am very, very happy. The 04 rides much better than the 03 i had ,and handles as well if not better (after ALOT of adjments). It turns higher rpm's( turning 10300-10500), 03 turned 9800-10100.Getting better fuel mileage. Does not seem to be burning oil (still pulling some into airbox).The ripsaw track is very aggressive(there is less track spin).This sled is such an absolute joy to spend time on, I love it! Problems at this point,replaced center idler wheel(seal on bearing popped out)and cracked the w-arm.All replaced under warrenty and very quickly.

Where are you doing most of your riding?
If you are who I think you are, I met you at Boss Buck camp in Maine getting fuel the week between Christmas and New Years, and saw you on the trail several times around Pittsburg.

What adjustments have you made that can help out the gang here with there sleds?

VT with 10,000 miles last year and over 3,000 this year you are the undisputed mileage champ.

YES sir, that was probably me ,i stayed there for 3 days. I wish we had introduced ourselves and talked. I have been riding VT,NH,ME,QC. I loosened the front springs(14 threads showing), took up on the limiter straps(1/1/4 " of thread showing).control rods on line 4. and the biggest positive improvement was removing the 10 mm spacers in the control rods and replacing with the 5mm.

Thank you spray, but the guy i do some riding with will be on my heels. I did 10003 miles on the 03 and he had 9868 on his 03 rev x 8 before it came undone.

We did talk brefly, I was on a Rev 800X and my son was riding my Black Warrior, in front of you in line for gas.
You have the limited edition silver and red RX1 right?

That is correct, if we see each other again let's talk. I will be in northeren NH and westeren ME again this week. there is an HCS ride in at the northland restaurant sat. at 12:00 in cannon VT. If you can go, i will be there.
