4th Annual McCall Ride!!

Every year you guys hold this event over Pesidents Day weekend. Every year we take my 4-H snowmobile club to the Washington State Snowmobile Association's annual convention, which is always is also held over Presidents Day weekend. This year my son graduates high school and is then no longer eligible to participate in 4-H. All I can say is you better hold this event next year, because we're ready to bring the Kachess contingent in force. Instead we'll be pilgrimaging to you neck of the woods between March 4th and 11th. Five, possibly six, Tons strong. Better still be good snow.

What do you guys say we make this the last year? :moon:

I'm not sure of my work schedule but look me up when you are here. WOuld love to ride with you.

I dont think you have much to worry about. As long as we live here we will have the "Annual Presidents Weekend ride " :) :-o

You'll be very hungry if you walk across the street for breakfast. The Woodsman closed down some time ago.

The Pancake House is the closest place to the Western Lodge (formerly the Best Western) only about two blocks walk.

Pancake House? 9:00 am?

If you want to meet at the parking lot I would guess 10:00 to 10:30 giving enough time for breakfast.

Sounds like a plan.....9:00 pancake house or 10:00-10:30 upper lot.

We're at the motel....we are going hit the upper lot early and make the usual route working from Wongs to Granite....we'll keep an eye out for a group of Yamaha's and see if we can meet up with the group on the hill.

Thank you for the chicken Christie... ;)!

It was a fun time. Thank you all for coming. For those that bailed because of snow conditions... you missed out the snow was actually pretty descent.

Christie and I had a blast and really enjoyed everyones company. Hammer if you and Victor want to come back you can have a free place to stay. Also, tell your Dad I REALLY enjoyed hanging out with him, great guy!

That very last video is of course my favorite. Why is it that every person that gets a new shiny sled thinks they need to race the RX-1? They're never going to learn are they?

My sympathy's to Hammer I'm sorry for your loss. Apparently, While getting dressed Monday morning he tore his favorite pink skirt and was too devistated to ride. (Sorry your Dad told me to do it)

It wouldn't be a ride without a pic of Jon stuck!!

Great Pictures and videos !!! Vic did a gret job taking pictures. I had a blast this weekend. Thank you to all that came and played with us !
Hammer when you thanked me for the chicken was that for dinner, or for me calling you a chicken on Monday ?? Hehehe
I cant wait for next year...hopefully I was not to much of a "girl rider" for you guys ! :)

Awesome pics Hammer!! Who needs a camera when you have an amateur photographer in the group. Here are a couple from day one when the skies were blue and the snow was good.

Here is one from day 2.

Also want to thank Mr and Mrs Spray for their great hospitality and the best cake I have ever eaten. WOW!! that was good.

Thanks to Tom, Randy, Vick, Franz, Bill, Christy and Ray for a great group ride.

Thanks to Ray for getting that great pic of me stuck.

Can't wait til next year.

J.

It's a good thing I didn't come out this year. My SCRX-1 ended up being on the recieving end of a tow rope in Cooke City on Feb 3rd.

Seems I need to start carying spare blower belts and my own race fuel for mix since CC motorsports was out and I only had one full tank from New Years.

Due to these two set backs; I was forced to ride a Polaris two days because of no race fuel and get towed to the trailer by the same Polaris when my blower belt went the one day I did get tor ride the SCRX-1 (now accepting donations for my therapy sesions to get over this traumatizing event).

Yeah,Yeah LOL. It's on the agenda. So is a shockwave adjustable helix to try and tame the packed trail RPMs since my data log function on the daytona gauge from MPI showed a max RPM of 11,000+ (bad Jimmy). BTW Hammer; have you ever heard of the J.S to SC belt blowing? I allways figured I would loose the one that is visable. I now have a spare of each though just in case. ;)!

have you ever heard of the JS to SC belt blowing?
I check both SC belts as part of my post ride inspection. That little sucker doesn't show any signs of wear. The crank belt must be taking the brunt of the shock. 300-miles since BOVs and my crank belt looks just like the day I put it on.

Pictures below of NON-BOV belt after 300-miles...........thrashed !!!

Yeah well I'm the first then to have the smaller belt go. My main belt is still good after 1300miles. Then again I wasn't aware the smaller was adjustable untill calling MPI two weeks ago. I check mine religiously also just wasn't aware the tension was adjustable on the second belt. Now I do but that's something I didn't see in the instructions. Due to the lack of knowledge on the adjustability of the smaller belt; I never checked the tension and I'm sure this is the reason for failure.
