How many hours does this service take?
what are dealerships in states charging for this service $$$$?
should I do the service myself?? Is it a PITA
What is done during the first service??
can I go with the new Yamalube® 0W-40 Full Synthetic Oil at 500 miles??
any advice would be great....

do it yourself its a lot cheaper, its real easy just lots of steps.a dealer will charge $100+ incl oil and filter, just pay attention how you put it back together, also change your gear oil, lube suspension and go. ;)!

My dealer charges $208 for the first service not to bad if you ask me, they fixed alot of the recalls on the 08 Nytro I took to them.

I would stick with mineral oil until the next oil change if I were you.

Thanks for the info...

Do you think it's ok going with the full Synthetic oil after 500 miles???
i ran mobil 1 full syn from the first oil change to present,no problems 5000mi.better oil is better for it.you will be fine. ;)!

I beleive that you are supposed to check synchronization of the EFI throttle bodies. Not sure how important it is but it requires tools.

I have to bring mine in next week and he is going to charge $200 and go threw the sled for me. I will do my own the next time.

if you do it yourself, do yourself a big favor and buy the ulmer filter relocation kit. it is worth its weight in gold. glad i got one ;)!
