I just got back from 220 miles today and thought that was pretty good...lol...you got me beat bigtime!
but,i must add that i broke trail for about 50+miles on lakes in about 2-3 feet of heavy powder on all those lakes..and huge drifts!....man what a day!...i thought for sure id blow a belt......but rtx ran flawless as usual, and belt has over 2400 miles on it......
gotta love these sleds!...even got decent fuel economy in all that heavy snow!

Man you sure got us beat.
Did a ride yesterday 220 miles just the wife and I. Did northern WI and lower UP. The trails were highway smooth for at least 95% of the and a little chop in other parts. It was a great ride a little cool in the morning
-15f. Oh yea I do not have to wait for the little lady either.

i have the same problem, gettin people out for a good ride.
just rode from temagami to cochrane (300 miles each way)
up one day, get hotel, back the next. 7 hours each day.
awesome run.
i would not do it on anything but a yami , when by myself !
make way better time when alone.

We just did 341 on our longest day of our 7 day trip and we thought we rode far. It was actually easier than we thought it would be, we left at 9:30am and got to the next hotel at 6:30pm with 3 gas stops and lunch. The trip totaled 1512 and was a great time.

I bought my Yamaha for a long distance hauler. Not 500+ miles but with the trails taking a little longer to get nice I figured I would see what she could do. Well she worked flawlessly. I did go over her good and put on new slides and changed the chaincase oil. I also took a turn out of the track to make it looser and she did ratchet just a little in the powder but I was looking for long distance and not out of the hole. She showed me who was boss because I came home pretty tired but feel I can put her away for another summer with out feeling too bad lol. The trails were 65% to 70%. If i had them 90% or better I could of went more. I took friday off but it was too cold -31c so I waited till Sat. Too warm -8c and the trails were getting beat up on the way home Sat. afternoon and evening. Next year I have a little longer route planned so will see what trail conditions are like. I took it easy on the straights, Picked 8500 rpm's and ran there all day. About 65 mph depending on the trail. Can't imagine doing it on anything else then a Yami 4 stroke. Didn't want to do it TILL I bought a Yami 4 stroke. Great sled, has its quirk's but with this site it can be a real pleasure to ride long distance. Oh Ya I'm about half way to my oil change, have to love that. Will do it before I put her away just like last year. Thanks to all for the good words. MikeCam
