I ran 8 inchers on my warrior... Steered hard but hooked well in corners..

I know MR sled said that even with the stock 4 ichers it handled awsome..

What do you guys think?? 6 or 8 inchers to make her rail around corners?

which carbide will give the best compromise between handling and steering ease?

6" NO STUDS

8"-10" W/ STUDS

I've done this for years!!!!!!

COLDONE is right on!!! I done it the same way, but it has been years since I have not used studs. I go with 10" because I'm upper body strong and want that sled on a rail!!!

Ok now i am getting the attak, and it has 1.25 rip on it so that means alot of traction for my liking, and it may be the first sled i dont stud, but i will leave that for further study, time will tell about studs, but if i dont stud 6" if i stud 8" and i may still put my precision skis on and give them a try, what the heck i have had them for 4 years, and they still have just the 4" per side. LaLaLa

Ive been using 6" for 2 sesons now with studs on my Warrior but I would like to try a set of 8". With the 6" I have easy steering, no darting and good cornering. But not 100% cornering on the high speed cornering over 60mph. I think the 8" will slove that. I will have to wait till next season to try the 8".

My GT will get 8 inch Carbides, 96 1.325 studs for trail riding.

6 inch Woody's Dooley’s with 144 studs (96 down the middle) I ran them on my 05 RX1 and it never darted. At the end of the season I put them on my Viper and the darting disappeared. I think it’s worth the 3mph top end they say you will loose.

6 or 8. Depends on what you want. 6 it's gonna push a little more in the corners (especially the warrior/attack), 8 you're going to have a better grip but its going to wear more on you for turning. So more preference.

The dualies work great if you are not an aggressive rider.. BUT THEY SUCK IF YOU ARE (which i am)

I had em,,, for the most part they are ok... untill you hit a corner at 75+ and cant turn..

Hey Welterracer, want to race sometime? The thing I like most about this site we DON'T have to agree. Just ask the some of the new comers to our riding group that say I ride too fast..... Me not aggressive... LOL

I was told the same thing about the Woody's Dools by a Polaris guy & 2 Doo guys in the U.P this year!
All said they didn't corner well for them & swapped back to single carbide bars!!!
Said they didn't think the Dools sunk in & bit, like a single carbide!!
If you look at them, they do look too close to each other!!!!!
