I was wondering what clutch setup you guys are using on your boosted sleds for 660', and great corner to corner action. It seems like we have three major categories all out/straight line riding, Trail riding/660', and mountain type riding when it comes to clutching and boosted sleds. Since most of my riding will be in the U.P, and Wisconsin, I thought i would ask what the flatlanders are using for their boosted setups on their primaries, and secondaries to get off the line speed, and excellent back shift for those corners. Please include anything that didn't work out the way you thought also. looking to do the summer project right. Thanks guys ;)!

In my Powderlites Nytro I have been using Ulmers supertips setup in the front and back with REALLY good sucess...........that being said, the Supertorquer stuff worked great for me when the sled was stock, gonna have to give their stuff a try this coming up winter.
Turk, any idea of what my sled needs for a base weight??

The 20/50,s work well because you can use basically any primary spring to get rpm,s close with minimal adjustment to the weight itself.
I would strat with black hc spring & 3 grams in heel.

Turk,
Any advantage of using something like a Team secondary on a boosted setup, or is that just a waste of money for this type of setup? As long as I have your attention on this one, any gearing changes? I Hear of guys doing this stuff somewhat on stock sleds but..... Thanks again OH Wizzard of Clutching ;)! ;)!

For trail riding keep gearing stock cus it,s just more fun for low end.
I have zero experience with the team so I can,t give honest input but it just brings in more tuning complications in to the mix as they run really different helix & spring set ups.
As long as rpm,s are in the sweet spot on a boosted sled your gonna be pretty happy.

Adding a Shockwave helix can make the trasition from lake to trial a fun one.

You dial her in on the lake and then tighten her up for the trail for quick backshift corner to corner.
