Is it possible to use 8" wheels on the rear axle on the Vector Mountain stock rails? Or is a rail mod/change required? The OFT Racing billet wheels looks amazing!!

Are you wanting to run 8" wheels, and what wheel configurations? We currently have 7" wheels and axle kits available for them.
We have an 8" axle on the design table, but it will only run 2 or 3 wheels INSIDE THE RAILS (your choice), and it is not in production just yet.
Through design and testing, we have opted to stay away from wheels OUTSIDE of the rails with offset axle kits. They are weak, and we refuse to sell anything less than the best.

I don't HAVE to run 8" wheels. 7" would work fine as well. Is the 7" wheels and axle kit available in 4 wheels config?
What is the pros and cons for running only 2 wheels inside the rails?

Yes, the 7" wheels can be run in a 4 wheel configuration. This is a picture of that set up on some of the rail extensions that we manufacture:

The pros and cons of a two wheel kit are up for debate. I think it's better two have at least two wheels inside the rails to help absorb the impact of a tail landing. There are a lot of stories of Yamaha owners who have hooked one of the track tensioner bolts in a track window and bent the rail, or worse. I also believe that the track is more equally tensioned with two wheels inside of the rails.
Now, this is where you will get a lot of different opinions, but one of the theories of a two wheel set up is that you can carve and side hill a little better. Very hard to quantify, but that is one of the reasons that people want them.
Hope this answers some of your questions. Let me know if I can assist further.

Yes, only running 2 wheels will make it easier to get the sled on its side. Makes for easy carving and easier side hilling. Or in my case side ditching

I ran the two wheel on the inside setup for one season. I really can't say I noticed a difference. After seeing my dad's sled trash two wheels in 40 miles on the trail (after they were serviced), I went back to a four wheel setup. Not worth being in a hell hole with rear wheels trashed and no way to get back out. It looks cool, but not worth the extra trouble.JMO

Can your 7" wheel setup be run on the stock Vector Mountain rails? Or do I have to install the rail extensions as well? Do not want to do that, as I'ld need to buy a new track as well then, and the sled will be too long...
4 wheel setup would be my option as I will do little of carving and side hilling

What's the price for the 4 wheel setup with 7" billet wheels (in black if you have). Given they fit the stock rails

Thanks

What's the advantage of running bigger rear wheels by the way?
Let say 8" over stock wheels...?

That is a million dollar question...
In our experience, it will reduce rolling resistance... a VERY SMALL AMOUNT. Not enough for any huge gains in performance, but a bit of a gain none-the-less.
IMHO, the best part of them is the look it gives you!

Well, you can't argue with that ;-)

We carry both types of axles, the standard offset axle that will allow you to run up to 4 8 inch wheels, and a 8 inch re-location axle that allows you to run 2 inner 8 inch wheels.

Sent you a pm on pricing.
No, you don't have to run rail extensions, it was just a picture that I had to show the 4 wheel configuration. And here is the black version of that wheel in a 2 wheel set-up:
