On my 08 ltx I want 8" rear wheels. Will the 8" wheels fit the stock axle or do I need a different axle?

you will need an axle to put 8 inch wheels.

i think 8 inch wheels are overrated .save your money.
like the look lol.If they are over rated then I will just run the stock ones for now until they fall apart. What is the stock size that we have now?I never measured tonight as I forgot when I got back from riding.

7". If you put 8" on, your track will hit the tunnel. Don't use 8".
Thanks guys.I'm new to Yammi and have questions and hope I'm not bothering some of you with my questions.

wheels
i run the older srx (76-80) wheels with no problem at all and a little less rolling restance . whatyou have to realive is that asled ihas a high rolling restance and that any thing that you can do to reduce the restance is a big gain. on the ovel trackers like the t jet and srx,s we allways ran slider lube systems. if you could not push and pull you sled back and forth on the start line useing your thumb and first two figers the restance was to high and if when the sld was on the stand you shoud beable to spin the track with one finger esaly..

i agree totally black john, just something as simple as running your rear suspension really soft will allow the sled to set lower and roll easier ,sled doesnt need more power ,it needs to roll easier
